Tourist things to do
Nyhavn - This is the postcard of photo everyone wants when they head to Copenhagen and with good reason. It is a stunning view of all the classic Danish houses and the boats moored in the harbour. Tivoli Gardens - This is a busy place in Copenhagen because there are so many different activities available to try. There are rollercoasters, food stands and beautiful trees and flowers. It is always busy and open late into the night but it is a lot of fun and the 2nd oldest amusement park in the world. What the locals do Amager Beach Park - It is a man-made island next to Copenhagen where you can swim, walk down the beach or just chill out. The locals love it as it is really versatile and a nice place to get outdoors. There are plenty of things to do there year round and you can even see Sweden from the island. Cycle across the bridges - There are a lot of new bridges that have been built for cyclists, they look great and they connect the city brilliantly saving people time during their commute to work or if they are meeting friends. They also give you great views of the city and the river. |

Courtyards - The courtyards around the city are a very nice place to chill out and avoid the hustle and bustle. It is a perfect place to experience Hygge with a hot chocolate in hand, while chatting to friends and family. You also get to experience the classic architecture of the city. Fun events to go to Botanical Gardens - Head to the botanical gardens for your daily dose of green plants. It is located in the centre of the city and is a nice place to relax.
